Stopped Working With Less Than 20 Hours On Unit.
Purchased new in 2011 to till my garden I have had for years. The tiller may have close to 20 hours on it and the other day the tines stopped working. I took it apart and the tine worm gear had stripped. They used either bronze or brass material to make the gear. It was gold in color. I was trying to order the gear and was told I could would have to order the whole transmission for $270+$70 shipping. Wonderful Tiller!!
Have had this tiller since 2011, and we till and maintain a 200 x 100 garden with it. We haven't had any problems at all, even though this ground gets very hard. It will till down very deep, and is very good at tilling up the soil as needed.

We find it is best to use med-high grade gasoline plus an added gas stabilizer too. With other older tillers we had so many fuel issues using just reg grade gas and no gas stabilizer. So far we're very happy with this model and hope it continues to... more

Not Sure If It Is The Brand Or The Store
Bought my tiller last July 5, 2013. Home Depot left in the weather and engine filled with water. Rather than replacing it, they cleaned it and got it running. Used it for about four hours on July 5, 2013. Has been in the garage since. Started once during the winter to allow it to run. Tried starting it 3 weeks ago, would not start. Took apart carburetor and lines are corroded, cannot clear, pretty sure it is due to the water that was in the entire engine and fuel tank.Regardless, had... more
