Q: I just bought a used troy-built scout tiller my question is should the drive wheels roll freely when the tiller is not running?

A: Thanks for your inquiry. Just make sure the drive is in neutral and the wheels will move freely.

 My first tiller

The wife bought it but I get to use it. I ( the husband ) chose this type of tiller mostly because of the gear drive. It arrived in perfect shape. It took me about 30 minutes to put things together and oil/gas it up. This is not a joke! The darn thing started up on the first pull!! We have a garden area, flower gardens, etc. I've only gone thru two tanks of gas, you can figure how many hours that is, with NO problems. I read a lot of customer reviews prior to making the purchase. All I can say is that Tillers Direct delivers and so does my Troy-Bilt.
